OFFICIAL RULES OF THE ROHNERT PARK FISHING DERBY

Please use common sense and courtesy and respect to others and your surroundings. Below are the "official rules" for you.

RULES

1.) All participants must register before fishing.

2.) The Fishing Derby officially begins at 8AM-10AM (No fishing before)

3.) The Official weigh-in for derby closes at 10AM.

4.) DO NOT Eat any fish from Roberts Lake, Due to 100% reclaim water

5.) Fishing boundaries are only on the west side of Robert's Lake. NO Fishing on Golf Course!

6.) Observe and respect other people around you.

7.) Alcohol or controlled substances are NOT allowed at this event.

8.) PLEASE PICK UP ALL TRASH AT THE END OF THE DERBY

9.) Parents may help kids, if needed. Try to let kids fish as much as they can.

10.) One fishing pole per child.

11.) All fish caught must be taken to the registration table for official weigh-in. Please weigh-in fish right after you catch them.

12.) Catch & Release back in Roberts lake after they are weight-in.

13.) Fish must be caught from shore or dock where access is permitted. Boats, floats and rafts of any kind are not permitted.

14.) Medals will be awarded at the end of the fishing derby. around 10AM

15.) Winners need to be present to claim their awards.

16.) The biggest fish category will be determined by weight.

17.) Winners must be present to claim prizes from the raffle.

18.) Participants are limited to winning only one raffle prize during the Fishing Derby.

19.) All ties will be subject to a random drawing.

20.) All prizes must be accepted as awarded and have no other surrender value.

21.) All decisions made by event coordinators are final.

DECISIONS AND LIABILITY

23.) Each participant, upon registering to participate in the Rohnert Park Fishing Derby, agrees to hold the sponsors, organizers, and event volunteers harmless from any liability of any nature and kind for any injuries and or damages suffered during or after the period of the Rohnert Park Fishing Derby.

24.) There is no minimum age for participants, however, all minors must be with a parent or a guardian at all times during the event.

25.) All participants agree to give the Rohnert Park Fishing Derby full rights for promotional or commercial purposes of their likeness in any photograph and or video taken during the Rohnert Park Fishing Derby.

26) Participants agree to abide by the Official Rules and Regulations and agree that failure to comply with any of the rules will result in automatic disqualification, forfeiture of all prizes/recognition as a prizewinner.

27.) The organizers reserve the right to amend, add to, remove or otherwise change any of the rules and regulations for this contest, without prior notice, if it is deemed by them to be in the best interest of all parties involved in the derby.
